Making education in Australia accessible


IDP Education India organised the Australian education fair at Taj Krishna recently, for students aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia. The fair spread across 15 cities brought together prominent universities and educational institutes from Australia under one roof.





The fair kick started at Kolkata and will conclude in Coimbatore on September 1. Among the other cities, the fair will be organised in Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Vijayawada, Kochi and Coimbatore.





Over 650 students visited the fair. Piyush Kumar, Country Director, India - IDP Education said, “IDP seeks to provide a platform to aspiring students to come and have a face-to-face interaction with the university representatives and get answers to all their queries related to studying in Australia.





34 Australian institutions are participating in the fair. It is a FREE platform for all students to gauge their prospects, apply directly to the institution of their choice and get first hand information on courses, scholarships etc.”





In addition to meeting the institutions, the qualified students also got application fee waivers and scholarships. The scholarships can range from a fee bursary to a 50 per cent scholarship of tuition fee for select students. One can also visit the IDP office to pre-register for priority processing and detailed counseling with trained and experienced Australia counselors.
