Paytm payment bank will launch debit card, free insurance

Participated with the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) to bring a digital debit card based on Paytm Payments Bank (PPB). Through PPB digital card, the customer will be able to make payments to all the traders who accept credit and debit cards. This will allow Paytm customers to make online payments, but Paytm will also provide free insurance to its customers, in which customers will be covered in up to 2 lakh insurance cover.
Rupee based digital debit card will be issued to all customers who open accounts in PPB. The current PATIm users will have to complete the KYC process to become the PPB's account holder, after which they will be given a free digital card.
2 lakhs of insurance:
There will also be two lakhs of insurance on the debit card. In case of death or full disability, the insurance company will get the sum assured. PPB MD and CEO Renu Satti said, "With our digital debit card, our customers will now be able to make payments on every online platform and they will experience similar features like Paytm."
