>> UIDAI's app can not be used without linking the mobile number of mAadhaar without linking. With the help of mAadhaar app, users can walk with their Aadhar card in their smartphone, update the address. Due to this, there is no need to carry physical Aadhar card.
If no Aadhaar-mobile number is linked, SMS alerts and OTPs associated with base services such as Base Generation, Update, Reprint, Validation Letter etc. can not be obtained.
