 The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts two exams for these jobs. These two exams are CHSL Exam and Stenographer Exam which you can get a government job by passing.

 SSC CHSL Exam
 These exams are conducted for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk / Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator. All these jobs belong to the Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.

 Salary
 1. Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month
 2. Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA): 25,500 to 81,100 rupees per month.
 3. Data Entry Operator (DEO): 25,500 to 81,100 per month.
 4. Data Entry Operator, Grade A: 25,500 to 81,100 rupees per month

 Eligibility and age limit
 For these jobs, you must have 12th pass. For the data entry operator, only students who pass the main stream with math can apply while the age limit is 18-27 years.

 Students' selection will be under Computer Based Exam (Tier I), Descriptive Paper (Tier II), and Skill Test / Typing Test (Tier III). The candidate will be selected after every Tier exam.

 SSC Stenographer Exam

 These exams are done to appoint stenographers for the ministries and departments of the Government of India. There are grade C and grade D posts for stenographer. To get this job, apart from passing 12th, it is also important to have knowledge of stenography. This exam will be in both Hindi and English languages.
