Good news, even those who do not have money, can withdraw 5000, know how

There is also an overdraft facility of Rs 5000 on the Prime Minister Jan Dhan Account. For this, there is a mandatory condition that the account should also be linked to the Aadhaar card. Experts say that if someone's Prime Minister Jan Dhan account is not linked to Aadhaar card, then overdraft facility cannot be given on that account. Under the overdraft facility, the account holder can withdraw up to Rs 5000 from the bank even when there is no money in his account.

Experts say that to take advantage of the overdraft facility, the account holder has to maintain the transaction from the account for the first 6 months. For this, the account holder has to keep enough money in the account and should also carry out transactions from time to time. RuPay debit cards are issued to such account holders. If the concerned bank finds the account fit as per the rules, then the account holder is given an overdraft facility of up to Rs 5,000. For this, the account holder's account must be linked to the Aadhaar card. In some cases, this facility of overdraft is available on payment of a partial interest.

Significantly, if the PM Jan Dhan account is not linked to Aadhaar, then they cannot be given the benefit of this facility. Let us tell you that the account holder is also given Accidental Insurance of Rs 1 lakh on the RuPay Debit Card issued under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan account. The best part of this scheme is that there is no problem of maintaining minimum amount in this account. It is important for the account holders to note that if the account is not linked to the Aadhaar card, the nominee cannot be given the benefit of the above accidental insurance.
