Scholarship and cycle money will now go to the account of 40 lakh students

The amount of scholarship, dress and cycle items will start to be known in the accounts of students of Jharkhand. The Government of Jharkhand has lifted the ban on payment of funds in these items during the Corona period. Finance Secretary Himani Pandey has issued its order. About 40 lakh students will get benefit of this.



 The order of the Finance Secretary states that the amount of all scholarship schemes offered from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department will be sent directly to the beneficiaries account. This will also be applicable for school education and literacy, sports and youth work and scholarship schemes of Women, Child Development and Social Security Department. Funds given by the Department of School Education and Literacy to purchase bicycles will also start sending directly to the students' account. This provision has also been made for the bicycle scheme of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department.





 Dress and book money will also be sent
 The Finance Secretary has ordered that a bill related to money be paid by the Department of School Education and Literacy to purchase children's attire and school kits. Bills related to sending funds to their accounts for purchasing textbooks from 9th to 12th standard should be passed in the treasuries. The bill related to the stipend of female students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya should also not be stopped. The ban on payment of bills related to Matru Vandana Yojana has also been lifted.



 Limit of three percent of spending on phone, internet reduced
 The spending limit of three per cent of the amount provided for phone or internet in various departments has been lifted. From the month of June, office expenses, machine, equipment and fuel and up to eight per cent of the total allocation received in maintenance items can be spent for the payment of remuneration for essential works. Rent of vehicles hired can also be paid. In other cases, departmental secretaries can also decide from their level.



 There will be no shortage of funds in cleanliness
 Urban bodies are allowed to spend money for cleanliness work at various levels. Apart from this, there will also be no shortage of funds for water supply operations. Exemptions have also been given for the withdrawal of the amount spent on maintenance or repair of drinking water sources or water supply system. The bills required to maintain the power supply system will also be passed now.
