Is your PAN card linked to Aadhaar card? Learn the easy way
The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has said that those who file income tax returns have extended their PAN card to Aadhaar till March 31. Action will be taken against those who do not have support and page links. Can be checked manually.
This is an easy way to check the linking
For this you have to go to incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
You will see the Quick Links option on the left. Here you click on ‘Link Support’
Check the page if you have applied to join before opening
Now this will take you to another page
Now enter the PAN card number and Aadhaar card number here
Now click on View Link Support Status
After entering the information, you will get information about the link of PAN card and Aadhaar card.
For this, you have to go to the website incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
You must click on the ‘Link Support’ option to join. A page will immediately open in front of you asking for information like PAN card number, Aadhaar number and name.
After filling in all the information, your card will be linked.
If you are having any problem in online linking, you can also do the linking via SMS.
By typing UIDPN from your registered phone number, you have to write your base by giving space, then you have to write page number by giving space and then send it to 567678 or 56161.
